Leathers Day is an annual event organized by Heritage, the company behind well-known Japanese magazines such as Lightning, 2nd, and Clutch. Since its launch in 2023, the event has brought together leather brands and enthusiasts from across Japan.
After being held in Yokohama since its beginning, Leathers Day moved to the heart of Tokyo this year.
Despite the change of location, many of the shops and brands that have participated since the first event returned once again, including NAKATA HANGER. Leather is at the heart of the event, with a wide range of products on display, from jackets and boots to bags and belts.

Visitors could also discover some of the most respected names in the industry, including Schott, the sponsor of this year's event, as well as ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH, KADOYA, Red Wing, and many others.
For those discovering NAKATA HANGER for the first time, it may seem a little unusual to see a hanger shop among so many leather brands. But the connection is actually quite natural. A high-quality leather jacket deserves high-quality care, and proper storage is an important part of preserving it.
When a jacket is not being worn, the hanger essentially becomes its "body," supporting the shoulders and helping maintain its shape. For something made to be enjoyed for many years, choosing the right hanger is an important detail.

For Leathers Day, we brought our limited quantity hangers featuring special colors and the Leathers Day logo engraving, and they were very well received. It was wonderful to meet so many people who share our appreciation for leather, craftsmanship, and well-made products. We were especially happy to see returning customers, while also having the opportunity to introduce NAKATA HANGER to those discovering us for the first time.
We are truly grateful to everyone who visited our booth and took the time to speak with us. For those who couldn't attend this year, we hope these photos give you a glimpse of the atmosphere and energy of Leathers Day in Tokyo.
We look forward to meeting you again next year!
