On September 8 of this year, Queen Elizabeth Ⅱof the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch passed away at 96 ages.
By the way, we are a Japanese wooden hanger manufacture.
But we’ve produced a hanger with a slight connection with her.
That is, when she visited Japan in 1975, we produced and delivered special hangers for the State Guest House,
which was the place to welcome the Queen.
The shape of the original model, the joint-less hangers, it was taken over the current men’s jacket hanger, NH-2 and AUT-02.
These two hangers are still used by lots of customers as luxuriously made hangers.
We are not sure whether Queen Elizabeth touched our hangers there.
But I was really surprised when I found Queen’s name in the history of how these special hangers were created.
AUT-02 is a very popular hanger as a gift due to its luxurious appearance.
Also, this hanger is sometimes chosen for a heavy leather jacket.
This elegant neck design makes the leather jacket more precious.
Moreover, AUT-02 is used by KADOYA, the oldest leather jacket manufacture in Japan.

今年の9月8日に英国のエリザベス女王が96歳で崩御されました。
70年にもわたる女王としての在位期間の長さは、
まだその半分の長さも生きていない私にとってはとてつもなく偉大で、想像しがたいです。
さて、我々中田工芸は日本のハンガーメーカーですが、直接的ではないものの、
エリザベス女王に少しだけ縁のあるハンガーを製作したことがあります。
1975年にエリザベス女王が来日することをきっかけとして、
女王をお迎えする場所であった迎賓館向けにハンガーを製作して納品したという実績があります。

この一本物ハンガーが生まれる経緯の中にエリザベス女王のお名前を見つけた時、私は大変驚いたものです。
AUT-02はその高級感ある佇まいから、今でも特にギフト用として大変人気のあるハンガーです。
またAUT-02はレザージャケット用ハンガーとして自家用にお求めになる方も多く、
私もショールームでよくお勧めしているハンガーです。
